Forktune is a free, no-signup restaurant decision tool. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the site.

What we collect

Nothing about you, directly. We don't ask for an account, an email, or any personal information. We don't run our own analytics or tracking.

Browser storage

Forktune saves restaurant search results to your browser's localStorage so the site loads faster and uses fewer API calls. This data stays on your device — we never see it. You can clear it any time via your browser's settings.

Third-party services

Forktune relies on a few third parties. When you use the site, they may collect data per their own privacy policies:

• Google Places API — your city searches and the restaurants we display come from Google. Google may log requests per its Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense — Forktune may display ads, which use cookies to personalize what you see. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
• Affiliate links — clicking through to OpenTable, DoorDash, or similar partners may set tracking cookies. We earn a small commission on completed bookings or orders at no extra cost to you.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which may log your IP.

Cookies

Forktune itself does not set first-party cookies. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Children

Forktune is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
